There was a time in my life when “abundance” meant something very different from what the world sees today.
Before I ever spoke about prosperity, self-expression, or the beauty of quality fashion, I knew what it felt like to survive on the bare minimum—because that’s all there was.
I remember digging through piles of donated clothes in the mission, pulling out shirts that were two sizes too big or jeans that had lived five lives before they reached my hands. Nothing matched, nothing felt new, and nothing fit the person I knew I was on the inside. But I wore them anyway, because that’s what was available.
Meals weren’t much different. Some days the only food we had was old salad greens, bread with spots of mold some tore around, praying the clean parts were clean enough. Other nights it was a hamburger helper with a half spoiled hamburger meat— jumbo overcooked noodles. And yet, many ate it. Not because it tasted good, but because hunger didn’t give us the luxury of choice.
Experiences like that shape you. They strip ego to the bone and force you to see life for what it truly is: fragile, temporary, and sacred.
And because of that journey, I learned something important…
Gratitude is the foundation of all true transformation.
Without it, nothing grows—not success, not peace, not personal style, not purpose.

As I expand into clothing, accessories, and style, I’ve become even more aware of a truth many people forget:
